Abbey Chapel is the oldest surviving building in Tavistock, and has been used as a monks dining room, hospital, and place of worship for over 1100 years.
Those who meet at 'Abbey', are an independent group of evangelical christians who believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the LIfe, and that no one can come to God except through Him (John chapter 14. verse 6) . For a more complete statement of our beliefs, see Beliefs.
We have close links with the other churches in Tavistock through TACT, and try to share our Christian faith with all.
